Released in 2024, it succeeds the brand's 7 & 15 Year expression.

15 Stars, of Bardstown, Kentucky, is known for blending well-aged bourbons, and the Private Stock pairs a vibrant 8-year-old with a deep, oak-rich 15-year-old for a big, well-aged, well-blended bourbon that is bold on the nose and weighty on the palate. American Whiskey Magazine scored it 9.0.

The nose is like a candy shop, with toffee, fudge, fruitcake and honeycomb. The palate brings black cherry, bananas Foster and caramelised sugar, followed by charred oak and cigar box, and the finish lingers with black cherry, roasted nuts, coffee and chamomile tea.

The classic 15 Stars bottle makes it a fine gift for bourbon lovers.

Pour it neat or with a single large ice cube.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Toffee, fudge, fruitcake and honeycomb.

Palate: Black cherry, bananas Foster, caramelised sugar, oak and cigar box.

Finish: Black cherry, roasted nuts, coffee and chamomile.

Specifications

Producer: 15 Stars

Style: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, blend

Expression / Batch: Private Stock 8 & 15

Age: Blend of 8 and 15-year-old bourbons

Proof / ABV: 107 proof (53.5% ABV)

Cask / Finish: New charred American oak

Region: Bardstown, Kentucky

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Serve it neat or on a large ice cube.
