Sip it neat or over a large ice cube, or stir a classic Old Fashioned with orange peel and bitters. It makes a smooth Manhattan, a Whiskey Sour with fresh lemon, a Mint Julep or a simple bourbon and ginger ale. Pair it with barbecue ribs, fried chicken, smoked sausage, aged cheddar or pecan pie. For hunters, dog lovers and anyone who likes a good-value Kentucky bourbon, the bird dog label makes it a fitting gift, and a dependable bottle to share around the campfire or after a day in the field.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years.
