The particular combination of mash bill and yeast gives each barrel a one-of-a-kind flavour profile, so no two bottles are exactly alike.

It starts with a gentle spiciness that transforms into notes of maple, oak and nutmeg, with vanilla and caramel. The finish is long, dry and satiny, completed by the taste of light toffee.

A one-barrel expression of the familiar Bulleit frontier character, it makes a fine gift for bourbon lovers.

Enjoy it neat or with a few drops of water to experience its bold, complex flavour.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

Straight bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged at least two years in new charred oak containers, with nothing added but water.

A single barrel bottling comes from one cask rather than a blend, so each bottle reflects the character of that barrel.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Gentle spice, vanilla and toasted oak.

Palate: Maple, oak, nutmeg and caramel.

Finish: Long, dry and satiny, with light toffee.

Specifications

Producer: Bulleit

Style: Kentucky Straight Bourbon, single barrel

Mash Bill: High rye, up to 36% rye

Age: Minimum 8 years

Proof / ABV: 104 proof (52% ABV)

Cask / Finish: New charred American white oak

Region: Kentucky, United States

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it neat or with a few drops of water.
