The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley, and proof varies from barrel to barrel, generally around 120.

It shows a deep, rich mahogany. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

Barrel proof means the bourbon is bottled at the strength it came out of the barrel, without being diluted, so a few drops of water let you open it up to your own taste.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Toasted caramel, butterscotch and soft oak.

Palate: Smooth, creamy honey.

Finish: Butterscotch and vanilla.

Specifications

Producer: Bushwood

Style: Single Barrel Straight Kentucky Bourbon, Barrel Proof

Age: 7 years

Mash Bill: 70% corn, 21% rye, 9% malted barley

Proof / ABV: 121.2 proof (60.6% ABV)

Region: Kentucky, United States

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat or with a little water.
