casamigos-cristalino-reposado-tequila-1l
Casamigos Cristalino Reposado Tequila 1L

Casamigos Cristalino Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the rich red clay soil of the Highlands of Jalisco, twice distilled and aged in American white oak barrels, then charcoal filtered to crystal clarity. This is the 1-litre bottle at 80 proof.

The careful charcoal filtration removes the golden honey colour of the reposado while preserving its complex flavours, restoring the crisp, bright agave notes of Casamigos Blanco while keeping some of the cask character. Casamigos uses an extra slow fermentation, and its agave piñas are roasted in a process that includes traditional brick ovens.

The aroma shows cocoa and caramel with hints of agave. The flavour is crisp and clean, with notes of oaky vanilla bean, dried raisin and fig, and a silky-smooth finish.

Crystal clear and smooth, the larger bottle is a generous choice for hosting and gifting.

Enjoy it on the rocks, neat, or in a Cristalino martini or old fashioned.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Cocoa and caramel with hints of agave.

Flavour: Oaky vanilla bean, dried raisin and fig.

Finish: Silky smooth.

Specifications

Producer: Casamigos

Style: Cristalino Reposado Tequila

Agave: 100% Blue Weber agave

Cask / Finish: American white oak, then charcoal filtered

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Region: Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 1L

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it on the rocks, neat, or in a Cristalino martini or old fashioned.
