The time in oak gives a final product that is round and refined on the palate, and it was named World's Best Tequila at the 2021 World Tequila Awards. The Corazón family also includes the Expresiones del Corazón reposados, such as one aged in Elmer T. Store it at room temperature, or in the freezer to enjoy it chilled.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cooked agave, earthy notes, vanilla.

Palate: Round and refined, Marcona almond, fresh herbs.

Finish: Soft vanilla.

Specifications

Brand: Corazón

Region: Highlands of Jalisco

Style: Reposado tequila

Agave: 100% highland blue Weber

Additives: Zero additives

Aging: 6 to 8 months in American oak

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Mix a Paloma or a Margarita, frozen or on the rocks, or sip it neat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is it aged?
Six to eight months in hand-selected American oak barrels.

Does it contain additives?
No, it is made with zero additives.

What awards has it won?
World's Best Tequila at the 2021 World Tequila Awards.

Explore more in our Tequila collection.
