Just add ice.

Courage+Stone is the brainchild of actress, comedian, director and author Aisha Tyler, well known in Hollywood as an accomplished mixologist and spirits enthusiast. Knowing firsthand that a great cocktail can be messy and labor intensive, she set out to create a premium, bar-quality cocktail that could be enjoyed at home without the effort.

It starts at the source, with craft-distilled rye whiskey from New York Distilling Company in Brooklyn. To it the team adds cane sugar, their own bespoke vermouth, their own custom C+S bitters and natural flavors of cherry and dark chocolate. No industrial alcohol, artificial flavors, coloring, corn syrup or preservatives are used. The result is a double-gold award-winning Manhattan.

It is the perfect balance of sweet spirit, rich vermouth, aromatic bitters and oak spice. Brandied raisins, honeyed vanilla, dark chocolate and cherry enrich the spiciness of the rye, with a dark, figgy depth and notes of brandied cherry, clove and fruitcake. Rich, opulent and decadent.

Each bottle holds a polished Manhattan with rye spice, cherry and vermouth depth and a smooth, spirit-forward finish. It is made for anyone who wants classic cocktails built with premium ingredients, with the convenience of simply pouring and the taste of a drink stirred by a skilled bartender.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rye spice, sweet vermouth, bitters, dark cherry.

Palate: Rye warmth, dark chocolate, brandied cherry, fig.

Finish: Clove, fruitcake and oak spice.

Specifications

Brand: Courage+Stone

Founder: Aisha Tyler

Style: Ready-to-drink Manhattan

Whiskey: Rye from New York Distilling Company, Brooklyn

Ingredients: Rye, cane sugar, house vermouth and bitters, natural cherry and dark chocolate

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Pour over ice in a mixing glass, stir, and strain into a chilled coupe with a preserved cherry, or simply serve it over a large cube.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who created Courage+Stone?
Actress, comedian and director Aisha Tyler.

What whiskey is used?
Craft-distilled rye from New York Distilling Company in Brooklyn.

How do I serve it?
Just add ice; a preserved cherry makes it perfect.

Explore more in our Liqueur & More collection.
