easy-rider-kentucky-straight-bourbon-whiskey-750ml
Easy Rider Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Easy Rider is a classic Kentucky straight bourbon aged four years in American white oak barrels and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood.

Easy Rider is a brand of Hood River Distillers in Oregon, and its label carries the motto Live Free, Ride Easy. The bourbon is distilled and aged in Kentucky, then brought to Oregon, where it is cut to proof with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood and bottled.

The whiskey spends four years in new, charred American white oak barrels, long enough to build rich vanilla and caramel while keeping the bright, sweet corn character of a young straight bourbon. It is made to be easy-drinking, smooth and flavorful, and it is available in 50ml, 750ml and one-liter sizes.

Easy Rider tastes of sweet corn, vanilla and soft malt, with a touch of spicy peppercorn on the palate and notes of worn leather on the finish.

Easy Rider is a versatile, everyday bourbon. Pour it over a large ice cube with a splash of water, or mix it with ginger ale or cola and a squeeze of lime for a simple highball. It makes a smooth Old Fashioned with orange peel and bitters, a refreshing Whiskey Sour, a minty Kentucky Mule with ginger beer, and a summer Bourbon Lemonade. Pair it with barbecue ribs, smoked brisket, burgers, pulled pork or a slice of pecan pie. The bold eagle label and road-trip spirit make it a natural gift for motorcycle riders and anyone who likes their bourbon easygoing and unpretentious, and it is a great bottle to bring along to cookouts and tailgates.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet corn, vanilla.

Palate: Soft malt, spicy peppercorn.

Finish: Worn leather.

Specifications

Brand: Easy Rider (Hood River Distillers)

Distilled: Kentucky

Age: 4 years in American white oak barrels

Water: Glacier-fed spring water from Mt.
