etter-quince-eau-de-vie-375ml
Etter Quince Eau-de-Vie 375ml

Etter Quince is a Swiss eau-de-vie distilled exclusively from quince grown in the region surrounding Zug, bottled at 82 proof (41% ABV) in a 375ml bottle.

Since 1870, when Paul Etter founded the distillery in Zug, the Etter family has been synonymous with fine Swiss eau-de-vie, first with kirsch and, since 1981, with a wider range of fruit brandies. Each bottle is distilled from a large quantity of ripe quince and nothing else, leaving it clear and unaged, and the brandy then gently evolves for years in glass demijohns before bottling, revealing uncommon depth.

Rich, vivid and captivating, it captures the honeyed fragrance of ripe quince, with notes of rose, honeydew melon and bright citrus.

The classic Etter bottle makes it an elegant gift for after-dinner sipping.

Quince is an aromatic fruit related to apples and pears.

Glass demijohn aging preserves the fruit's purity without wood.

Swiss eau-de-vie is traditionally enjoyed after a meal.

Chill slightly to highlight the fragrance.

It pairs with cheese courses and fruit tarts.

A few drops elevate a fruit salad or sorbet.

The 375ml size is perfect for trying something new.

It is a thoughtful gift for food lovers.

Try it in a spritz with club soda and lemon.

Brandy collectors will appreciate its craftsmanship.

It makes an elegant digestif for dinner parties.

Serve it in a small tulip glass to focus the aroma.

It is a classic Swiss after-dinner tradition.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Honeyed quince, rose.

Palate: Honeydew melon, bright citrus.

Finish: Clean and fragrant.

Specifications

Distillery: Etter, Zug, Switzerland (since 1870)

Style: Fruit eau-de-vie

Fruit: Quince from the Zug region

Aging: Rested in glass demijohns

Proof / ABV: 82 proof (41% ABV)

Size: 375ml

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it neat at 15 to 20°C in a tulip-shaped glass after a meal, or with a splash of club soda.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is eau-de-vie?
A clear, unaged fruit brandy.

Where is it made?
Zug, Switzerland.

How should I serve it?
Neat in a tulip glass, slightly cool, or with club soda.

Explore more in our Cognac & Brandy collection.
