Learning from those Japanese collaborations, the team added fresh ginger, turmeric and sencha genmaicha, a Japanese green tea with roasted brown rice, for depth of flavor, all on a canvas of strong pine-needle juniper, with a little lemon myrtle adding a touch of lemon curd and Australian finger lime in support.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe nose is bright yuzu, with lemon, mandarin and grapefruit alongside lemongrass and pine. The fruit is vivid but the gin never disappears: bright citrus over a proper juniper canvas, with green tea and ginger adding depth.
