A 100% single-grain rye mash bill is rare, and it shows the full expression of slow-grown rye.

This single barrel was selected with the Locked Barrel whiskey group for its Locked & Bonded program. It balances intense rye spice with rich, sweet honey and fruit notes, bold and palate-filling, with a complex interplay of citrus and deep sweetness.

Each single barrel is unique, which makes this barrel-strength selection a special gift for rye enthusiasts and bourbon drinkers alike.

Taste it neat first, then add a little water to open the spice and sweetness.

American rye whiskey is made from a mash of at least 51% rye and aged in new charred oak, giving it a spicier, drier character than bourbon, with notes of pepper, herbs and baking spice.

Tasting Notes

Grain: 100% estate-grown winter cereal rye.

Profile: Intense rye spice with honey, fruit and citrus.

Strength: Barrel strength, 127.6 proof.

Specifications

Producer: Frey Ranch Distillery

Style: Straight Rye Whiskey, Single Barrel, Barrel Strength

Mash Bill: 100% rye, estate grown

Expression / Batch: Locked & Bonded selection

Proof / ABV: 127.6 proof (63.79% ABV)

Region: Fallon, Nevada, United States

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat, then with a few drops of water.
