g4-tequila-blanco-de-madera-750ml
G4 Tequila Blanco de Madera 750ml

G4 Blanco de Madera is a limited, additive-free blanco from fourth-generation master distiller Felipe Camarena at El Pandillo distillery in Jalisco, fully fermented in wood and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).

Unlike G4's normally steel-fermented lineup, this special release introduces rustic, old-school wood vat fermentation. The wood does not add colour, but it transforms the texture, making the tequila softer, rounder and noticeably creamier than a standard blanco, while keeping the clean, agave-forward character G4 is known for. Deep well water adds weight and mineral depth.

Expect cooked agave, cracked black pepper, earthy minerality, citrus, green apple, cut grass, spice and a subtle nutty character, with the complexity of something lightly rested while remaining an unaged tequila.

A collectible limited release from one of the most respected Highland distilleries, it makes a fine gift.

Sip it neat to appreciate its creamy texture.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Agave: Cooked agave and cracked black pepper.

Fresh: Citrus, green apple and cut grass.

Texture: Creamy and round, with earthy minerality.

Specifications

Producer: El Pandillo (Felipe Camarena)

Style: Tequila Blanco, wood fermented, additive-free

Agave: 100% blue Weber agave

Process: Fully fermented in wooden vats

Proof / ABV: 90 proof (45% ABV)

Region: Jesús María, Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat at room temperature, or use it in a spirit-forward margarita.
