The base spirit is a single grain rye whisky from Kyrö Distillery in Isokyrö, Finland, one of the northernmost rye whisky producers in the world, paired with vermouths crafted from Cayuga White grapes grown in New York's Finger Lakes region. The Perfect designation follows classic cocktail convention, balancing sweet and dry vermouth.

The result is not just a perfect Manhattan but a distinct cocktail of its own, with rye spice, rich vermouth and cherry.

Presented in a gift box, it makes an easy, elegant present for cocktail lovers.

Pour over ice or stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe, garnished with a cherry.

A Perfect Manhattan uses equal parts sweet and dry vermouth with the whiskey, giving a drier, more aromatic drink than the classic sweet Manhattan.

Rye whiskey is the traditional base of the Manhattan, prized for the spice it brings against the sweetness of vermouth and the bitterness of the bitters.

Cayuga White is a hybrid grape developed in New York for the cool climate of the Finger Lakes, known for bright, fruity wines.

A bottled cocktail is best kept cool and served well chilled, which brings the flavours together just as stirring over ice would.

Tasting Notes

Base: 5-year-old Finnish single grain rye.

Vermouth: Finger Lakes Cayuga White, sweet and dry.

Bitters: House-made cherry.

Specifications

Brand: Hoste

Style: Bottled Perfect Manhattan cocktail

Whiskey: Kyrö Distillery 5-year-old rye, Finland

Proof / ABV: 70 proof (35% ABV)

Region: United States (Finnish rye, New York vermouth)

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled glass, or pour over a large cube.
