Bottled at 113 proof, well above the 100 proof of either component on its own, it offers a uniquely bold experience unlike anything else in the Knob Creek family, truly the best of both worlds.

Silky vanilla, sumptuous caramel and a touch of pepper lead the way. Baking spice and rye spice come up front, with an undercurrent of caramel, brown sugar, green apple and a slight nuttiness, and a thick mouthfeel carries flavor across the full palate before a gentle black pepper finish.

The bold copper-and-cream label makes it a great gift.

American whiskey covers a wide range of styles, from bourbon and rye to single malts and light whiskeys, and independent blenders and small producers have made it one of the most exciting categories in spirits.

Straight whiskey must age at least two years in new charred oak.

Higher proof carries more of the barrel's flavor.

Serve it neat in a Glencairn glass.

A few drops of water open up the caramel and spice.

Pour it over a large ice cube for slow sipping.

It is a great gift for bourbon and rye fans alike.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel, stone fruit, spice.

Palate: Vanilla, caramel, green apple, rye spice.

Finish: Gentle black pepper.

Specifications

Brand: Knob Creek

Style: Blend of Kentucky straight bourbon and rye

Components: 30% 9-year bourbon, 70% 7-year rye

Proof / ABV: 113 proof (56.5% ABV)

Region: Kentucky, USA

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat or with a splash of water, or stir a bold Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
