lagrimas-del-valle-la-sabina-tequila-reposado-2024-750ml
Lágrimas del Valle La Sabina Tequila Reposado 2024 750ml

Lágrimas del Valle La Sabina 2024 is a rancho único, or single-ranch, tequila reposado distilled at the Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123) and bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV).

It marks the brand's first harvest from the state of Guanajuato. La Sabina is a high-elevation ranch surrounded by mountains, with dark, dry, dense soil and huizache, or sweet acacia, trees planted among the agaves, conditions that drive the brand's mineral, terroir-forward character. Each Lágrimas del Valle vintage reflects the qualities of one chosen ranch, a philosophy borrowed from French winemaking.

The oak rest adds polish, with soft vanilla, gentle spice and a touch of toasted depth, without burying the cooked agave core. Expect cooked agave, light oak, vanilla, earthy minerality and hints of caramel.

A single-ranch vintage from a celebrated distillery, it makes a fine gift for tequila collectors.

Sip it neat to appreciate its terroir.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cooked agave, light oak, vanilla and earthy minerality.

Oak: Soft vanilla, gentle spice and toasted depth.

Character: Mineral, terroir-forward agave.

Specifications

Producer: Lágrimas del Valle (distilled at Cascahuín, NOM 1123)

Style: Tequila Reposado, single ranch, 2024 vintage

Agave: Blue Weber agave from Rancho La Sabina

Proof / ABV: 92 proof (46% ABV)

Region: La Sabina, Guanajuato, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat at room temperature.
