milagro-select-barrel-reserve-silver-tequila-750ml
Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Silver Tequila 750ml

Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Silver is a 100% blue agave tequila from estate-grown highland agave, mellowed in American and French oak and then filtered clear, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Unlike most silver tequilas, Select Barrel Reserve Silver is a blend of spirit mellowed for an average of 45 days in American and French oak barrels, then filtered to remove any color. It is made from estate-grown blue agave harvested in the highlands of Jalisco and presented in a hand-blown crystal bottle with a glass agave rising inside.

Brilliant and clear with a platinum hue, it shows hints of oak and vanilla over a bright agave core, balanced and full-bodied, with touches of caramel and salinity toward the finish.

The hand-blown bottle with its glass agave makes it a showpiece gift.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Agave: Bright highland agave.

Oak: Hints of oak and vanilla.

Finish: Caramel, light salinity.

Specifications

Brand: Milagro

Style: Silver tequila, barrel mellowed

Agave: 100% estate-grown blue agave, Jalisco Highlands

Mellowing: Average 45 days in American and French oak, filtered clear

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Region: Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat or on the rocks, or mix a premium Margarita or Ranch Water.
