The Act, championed by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr., established the first federal consumer protection standards in American spirits.

The grain bill of 60% yellow corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley gives a high-rye backbone with enough corn sweetness to keep it balanced. Corn brings sweet grain and vanilla, while rye adds pepper and lift, for a bolder bourbon with subtle nuttiness, floral notes and a spicy black pepper finish.

A true Texas bonded bourbon, it makes a fine gift for bourbon lovers.

Enjoy it neat, on the rocks or in an Old Fashioned.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

Tasting Notes

Sweetness: Sweet grain and vanilla.

Character: Subtle nuttiness and floral notes.

Finish: Spicy black pepper.

Specifications

Producer: Rebecca Creek Distillery

Style: Texas Straight Bourbon, Bottled in Bond

Mash Bill: 60% yellow corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley

Age: Minimum 4 years (Bottled in Bond)

Proof / ABV: 100 proof (50% ABV)

Region: San Antonio, Texas, United States

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it neat, on the rocks or in an Old Fashioned.
