tanteo-chipotle-tequila-750ml
Tanteo Chipotle Tequila 750ml

Tanteo Chipotle is an ultra-premium 100% blue Weber agave blanco tequila infused with roasted chipotle peppers from the rugged mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Tanteo is a small-batch tequila brand known for its cocktail-focused infused expressions, and the Chipotle is built for spicy Margaritas and savory, smoke-forward drinks where its balanced heat complements rather than overwhelms. Chipotles are smoked, dried jalapeños, and infusing them into blanco tequila brings a complex warmth to the glass while keeping the agave in view.

The aroma is clean smoke with a kiss of roasted pepper and fresh leather, together with agave sweetness. On the palate, the sweetness of the agave mingles with smoke, tobacco and the roasted heat of the chipotles, and the finish is long and sweet with a rich kiss of heat.

Smoky and spicy, with just the right amount of smoke for your spicy cocktail recipes.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Clean smoke, roasted pepper, fresh leather, agave.

Palate: Agave sweetness, smoke, tobacco, roasted chipotle heat.

Finish: Long and sweet, with a rich kiss of heat.

Specifications

Brand: Tanteo

Style: Chipotle-infused blanco tequila

Agave: 100% blue Weber agave

Peppers: Roasted chipotles from Chihuahua, Mexico

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Make a smoky spicy Margarita, add depth to a Bloody Maria, or mix it into grilling-season cocktails with grapefruit or pineapple.

Frequently Asked Questions

What peppers are used?
Roasted chipotle peppers from the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Is it 100% agave?
Yes, it is a 100% blue Weber agave blanco tequila.

How spicy is it?
Balanced: smoky with a rich kiss of heat that complements rather than overwhelms.

Explore more in our Tequila collection.
