Launched in 2025, it is the oldest whiskey Templeton has ever released, a straight rye from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, matured in heavily charred new American oak and bottled at 108 proof.

Templeton takes its name from the small town of Templeton in Carroll County, Iowa, which became famous for its rye whiskey during Prohibition.
