It comes in an artisanal hand-blown bottle signed with Marco Cedano's name, with a band marking his fifty years of craft and family tradition.

Cacao and vanilla lead up front, giving way to a saline, citrus finish.

The hand-blown bottle and anniversary band make it a meaningful gift for tequila collectors.

Sip it neat from a copita or snifter.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

French oak has a tighter grain than American oak and gives less overt vanilla and coconut, adding instead a finer spice, more structure and a drier, more elegant texture. In a reposado, that lets the agave remain the focus while the wood lends polish and length.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cacao and vanilla.

Palate: Cooked agave with French oak spice.

Finish: Saline and citrus.

Specifications

Producer: Tequila Tromba (Marco Cedano)

Style: Reposado Tequila

Expression / Batch: Cedano, 50th anniversary

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Cask / Finish: French Limousin oak

Region: Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat at room temperature.
