tequila-tromba-reposado-750ml
Tequila Tromba Reposado 750ml

Tequila Tromba Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from Jalisco, crafted by master distiller Marco Cedano and rested about six months in white oak barrels, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Tromba means big rain, the seasonal downpour that nourishes the agave fields. The tequila is made by Marco Cedano, a master distiller with some 50 years of experience who took a revolutionary stand to make only 100% blue agave tequila and developed his own proprietary still and distillation process. Every bottle reflects that guiding principle of authentic, small-batch tequila.

Resting in white oak gives a sweet, nutty reposado with notes of chocolate and caramel over cooked agave.

The tall bottle with its hand-drawn agave-field label makes it an elegant gift.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Reposado tequila rests in oak for two months to under a year.

100% blue agave tequila contains no added sugars from other sources.

Serve it neat in a copita or small tulip glass.

Try it on the rocks with an orange slice.

It makes a smooth, rounded Margarita.

It also works in a Paloma with grapefruit soda.

It is a great gift for tequila lovers.

Tasting Notes

Agave: Sweet cooked agave.

Oak: Nutty, caramel.

Finish: Chocolate.

Specifications

Brand: Tequila Tromba

Master Distiller: Marco Cedano

Style: Reposado tequila

Aging: About 6 months in white oak

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Region: Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat or on the rocks, or mix a reposado Margarita or Paloma.
