Each annual release is limited to around 6,000 bottles.

The nose brings vanilla cream, light toffee, toasted cereal and gentle baking spice. The palate is silky and rich, with honeycomb and roasted notes, true to the traditional, bourbon-cask style of Irish single malt.

Limited and beautifully presented, it is a refined gift for Irish whiskey lovers.

Enjoy it neat or with a drop of water.

Irish single malt is made from 100% malted barley at a single distillery, and triple distillation, a hallmark of many Irish whiskeys, gives a lighter, smoother spirit than double distillation. First-fill bourbon barrels, used for the first time after holding bourbon, add the most vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.

Walsh Whiskey is an independent Irish whiskey company known for The Irishman and Writers' Tears, and the 12 Year Old is one of its most sought-after annual releases.

Twelve years in the barrel give the whiskey depth and roundness while keeping the bright, malty character of Irish single malt. A drop of water helps open up the honey and spice.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla cream, light toffee, toasted cereal and baking spice.

Palate: Silky and rich, with honeycomb.

Cask: First-fill bourbon barrels.

Specifications

Producer: Walsh Whiskey

Style: Single Malt Irish Whiskey, Triple Distilled

Age: 12 years

Proof / ABV: 86 proof (43% ABV)

Cask / Finish: First-fill flame-charred bourbon barrels

Batch: About 6,000 bottles per release

Region: Ireland

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it neat or with a drop of water.
