trujillo-tequila-blanco-carbon-700ml
Trujillo Tequila Blanco Carbón 700ml

Trujillo Blanco Carbón is a 100% Blue Weber agave blanco refined through a carbon filtration process for exceptional purity and smoothness, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 700ml bottle.

A modern take on traditional tequila, it blends traditional craftsmanship with a post-distillation activated carbon filtration designed to strip away harsh edges and heavy vegetal notes. It remains an unaged blanco of crystal clarity, with a softer, more rounded mouthfeel.

Clean and refreshing on the palate, it offers bright citrus, sweet agave and delicate herbal notes, finishing with a soft peppery touch and an elegant, silky texture.

The matte-black bottle makes a striking gift.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Carbon-filtered blancos appeal to drinkers who prefer a softer, cleaner tequila.

The filtration polishes the spirit without adding any color or aging.

It is especially refreshing served chilled or over a large ice cube.

Its silky texture makes it a natural for a simple tequila and soda.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bright citrus and sweet agave.

Palate: Delicate herbs, silky texture.

Finish: Soft pepper.

Specifications

Brand: Trujillo

Style: Blanco tequila, carbon filtered

Agave: 100% Blue Weber

Proof / ABV: 80 proof (40% ABV)

Region: Jalisco, Mexico

Size: 700ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat or on ice, or use it as the base for an elevated Margarita or Ranch Water.
