It is a spirit unique to the American Southwest, made from two-row barley malted and smoked over velvet mesquite, then mashed, fermented, copper pot distilled and bottled on site, never sourced and never chill filtered. It is the unaged version of the distillery's Dorado mesquite-smoked single malt.

Desert campfire and dried ancho chili lead the nose, and the palate is rounded with white chocolate and balanced minerality.

The gold saguaro label makes it a distinctive gift.

American whiskey covers a wide range of styles, from bourbon and rye to single malts and light whiskeys, and independent blenders and small producers have made it one of the most exciting categories in spirits.

Unaged whiskey is bottled straight from the still.

American single malt is made from 100% malted barley at one distillery.

Mesquite smoke is a Sonoran Desert signature.

Serve it chilled in a small glass.

Try it in a smoky Old Fashioned with agave syrup.

It makes a bold Highball with grapefruit soda.

A splash in a Bloody Mary adds smoke.

It is a unique gift for adventurous drinkers.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Desert campfire, dried ancho chili.

Palate: Rounded, white chocolate.

Finish: Balanced minerality.

Specifications

Distillery: Whiskey Del Bac, Tucson, Arizona

Style: Unaged American single malt, mesquite smoked

Grain: Two-row malted barley

Distillation: Copper pot

Proof / ABV: 90 proof (45% ABV)

Region: Arizona, USA

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it chilled, or use it in place of mezcal in a smoky Margarita or Negroni.
