Different rick house positions and climate variations lead to subtle differences in flavour, which come together in each small batch. The whiskey is proofed with Widow Jane's own limestone mineral water from the legendary Rosendale Mines of New York.

The aroma offers vanilla bean, Earl Grey tea, caramel and sweet tobacco. The taste brings pecan pie, whole grain toast and grapefruit peel, and the finish shows nutmeg, birch beer and dry oak tannin.

With its batch and bottle numbers hand-written on the label, Lucky Thirteen is always a way to share good fortune, and makes a fine gift.

Enjoy it neat or with a single large ice cube.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Vanilla bean, Earl Grey tea, caramel and sweet tobacco.

Taste: Pecan pie, whole grain toast and grapefruit peel.

Finish: Nutmeg, birch beer and dry oak tannin.

Specifications

Producer: Widow Jane Distillery

Style: Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskeys

Expression / Batch: Lucky Thirteen, private barrel selection

Age: Minimum 13 years

Proof / ABV: 99 proof (49.5% ABV)

Cask / Finish: American oak

Region: Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York, United States

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Enjoy it neat or with a single large ice cube.
