yeyo-high-proof-blanco-tequila-750ml
Yeyo High Proof Blanco Tequila 750ml

Yeyo High Proof Blanco is the bold, high-strength expression of Yeyo's ultra-premium Jalisco highland tequila, made from 100% blue Weber agave and bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).

Yeyo is crafted from family estate-grown agave, sustainably farmed without pesticides or fertilisers. Master distiller Sergio Cruz cooks the agave in traditional brick ovens for over 53 hours, fermentation runs for more than 190 hours accompanied by classical music, and the spirit is double distilled in copper pot stills. Yeyo is certified additive free.

Where the standard Yeyo Blanco is refined and elegant, the High Proof amplifies every note. Expect cooked agave, citrus zest and green herbs with a hint of white pepper on the nose, bold roasted agave, lime, black pepper and earthy minerality on the palate, and a long, warm finish of citrus, pepper and sweet agave.

For the serious tequila enthusiast, it makes a memorable gift.

Sip it neat, over a large ice cube or in a bold cocktail.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.

Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Cooked agave, citrus zest, green herbs and white pepper.

Palate: Roasted agave, lime, black pepper and minerality.

Finish: Long and warm, citrus, pepper and sweet agave.

Specifications

Producer: Yeyo Tequila

Style: Blanco Tequila, high proof, additive free

Agave: 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave

Proof / ABV: 96 proof (48% ABV)

Region: Jalisco Highlands, Mexico

Size: 750ml

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat, over a large ice cube or in a bold margarita.
