AgaveLuz was founded by Pamela Maria De La Luz, and the brand is built on purity: organic agave, no chemicals, no artificial flavours and nothing added to adjust colour or sweetness. Twelve years is an extraordinary age for tequila, many times the three-year minimum for the extra añejo category, and from planting the agave to filling the bottle the journey took close to two decades.
That long rest in oak gives the tequila a rich, complex depth reminiscent of a fine cognac or Scotch, while it keeps a foundational core of cooked agave. Because it is additive-free, everything in the glass comes from the agave and the barrel, and the colour, aroma and sweetness are entirely the work of time.
