Mijenta Reposado is a highland tequila aged up to six months in a blend of American white oak, French oak and French acacia casks, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
The blend of three woods gives a deeper, more mature character than the blanco and a fuller expression of flavour, with a long finish on the palate. Mijenta is made from fully matured highland agave, and the reposado shows a light golden hue, bright and transparent, with a powerful body.
The nose is a delicate and inviting vanilla, with bergamot, honey, preserved fruits and orange blossom. The palate brings rich cooked agave, honey and vanilla, with a mid-palate of cacao nibs, and a long and generous finish.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
