Nikka Coffey Malt is a Japanese whisky made from 100% malted barley in a Coffey (column) still, bottled at 90 proof.
Nikka added Coffey Malt to its core range in 2014, after it had previously appeared only as single casks.
Using a Coffey still for malted barley is rare because of its complexity. It is bottled at 45% ABV.
