NueveUno Reposado is a certified organic and Kosher tequila made from 100% organic agave, distilled in copper pot stills and rested in oak, bottled at 40% ABV.
NueveUno is traditionally crafted in pursuit of the authentic taste of tequila, resulting in a classic, strong and complex spirit. It is produced at NOM 1426. The word Kosher comes from the Hebrew for fit, meaning something fit to be consumed, and the tequila carries both organic and Kosher certification.
Straw yellow with bright, clean golden tones, it offers cooked agave with vanilla, oak, cinnamon, apple cider, slight caramel and floral notes on the nose. The taste brings cooked agave and toasted oak with a smooth, long finish.
In its handsome bottle, it makes a fine gift for tequila lovers.
Sip it neat, or use it in a reposado margarita.
Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
