Planteray Sealander is a three-ocean rum blend from Maison Ferrand's master blender Alexandre Gabriel, uniting rums from Barbados, Mauritius and Fiji, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 700ml bottle.
Sealander honors the house's decades of journeys to the great rum islands, and for the first time combines three rums from different oceans in one blend. It brings together the elegance of aged molasses rum from the West Indies Distillery in Barbados, the grassy, herbal notes of cane-juice rum from Saint Aubin in Mauritius, and the complex structure and fruitiness of molasses rum from the Rum Co. of Fiji. Planteray was formerly known as Plantation.
Aromas and flavors of tonka bean, vanilla and almond custard and stroopwafel lead to a satiny, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a long finish of toasted marshmallow and herbal notes.
