Satryna Blanco is an ultra-premium, triple-distilled tequila made from hand-selected blue agave from the volcanic soils of Jalisco, presented in a distinctive glass bottle with a skull-shaped stopper inspired by Mexico's Día de Muertos and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Satryna's story began over half a century ago, when Nitzan's grandparents persuaded their friend, the legendary tequilero Newton, to create an exclusive tequila for their family. Seventy years and three generations later, that tequila is available to connoisseurs worldwide. It is made at Destilería Santa Lucía in Jalisco, where the agaves are steam-cooked for 24 hours and triple distilled for purity and smoothness while keeping the true character of sweet agave. Each bottle is hand-numbered and topped with a sugar skull cap, and this edition comes in a black gift box.
Bright and crystal clear, it opens fresh and herbaceous, with citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon-lime. The palate is crisp and light, with agave sweetness and hints of spice, and smooth vanilla, a touch of almond and a clean, dry aftertaste complete the glass.
A striking bottle to give and a pure blanco to pour.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
