Del Maguey Vida is an artisanal mezcal from San Luis del Río, Oaxaca, made for mixing, launched in 2010 and bottled at 84 proof.
It is hand crafted from 7 to 8 year old Espadín agave, double distilled slowly in small wood-fired copper stills and not aged in oak, then diluted with local river water.
Mezcal Reviews notes a 2023 label change to VIDA Clásico to differentiate it from VIDA Puebla.
