Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured 23 years in American and European oak and finished in French cuvée casks, the vessels used for the first fermentation of sparkling wine, bottled at 40% ABV.
Glenfiddich says it is the only Glenfiddich single malt finished in cuvée casks, and it launched in September 2019.
The notes are apple blossom, freshly baked bread and candied lemon on the nose, with vanilla oak, sweet brioche, sandalwood, pear sorbet and white grape on the palate.
