Lagavulin 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured in refill European and American oak casks and bottled at 48% ABV.
It was released for the distillery's 200th anniversary in 2016 and recreates an eight-year-old that Alfred Barnard praised in the 1880s.
The notes are smoke, tarry rope and brine on the nose, and peat smoke, black pepper and a briny character on the palate.
