Strega Liquore Street Liqueur 700ml

Strega is an Italian herbal liqueur made by Strega Alberti Benevento in Benevento since 1860, bottled at 40% ABV.

Wine merchant Giuseppe Alberti created it with his father, an apothecary, by revising an older recipe. The name means witch in Italian, tied to a local legend of witches brewing it as a love potion.

It is made from about 70 herbs and spices, including juniper, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, nutmeg and wild mint, and saffron gives it its golden color.
