Antica Black Sambuca is an Italian liqueur made from a base of Antica Sambuca Classica and flavored with an infusion of liquorice from Calabria, bottled at 38% ABV.

About 10% of the star anise distillate is blended into the liquorice infusion, along with an infusion of elderberry that gives the purplish-black color and dark berry character.

The aroma is pungent anise and liquorice, and the taste is syrupy with strong black liquorice and subdued anise.
