Buffalo Trace Kosher Straight Rye is a seven year old Kentucky straight rye whiskey, certified kosher and bottled at 94 proof.
Buffalo Trace began working with the Chicago Rabbinical Council in 2010 to develop its kosher whiskeys. The barrels are sold to a non-Jewish owner under cRc supervision so that the whiskey is not owned by Jews during Passover.
The rye is released each year after Passover ends.
