Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is a 23 year old Islay single malt distilled in 2000, matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 700ml bottle.

It is the first release in the Vintage Y2K series. The new make came from the old still that was removed in 2001 after 51 years of use.

The notes are candied walnuts, lemon balm and linseed oil, then sooty sweetness with heather honey under rich peat smoke.
