1800 Cucumber & Jalapeño is a refreshingly spicy flavored tequila made from 1800's double-distilled Blanco and infused with natural, ripe cucumber and jalapeño flavors, bottled at 70 proof (35% ABV).
1800 Tequila comes from the house of Cuervo, whose roots were planted in 1758 by José Antonio de Cuervo y Valdés, and it is made at Casa Cuervo under NOM 1122. Cucumber & Jalapeño brings a refreshingly spicy taste of summer to the range.
It is crafted from 100% Weber blue agave harvested at its peak. The base is 1800's signature double-distilled Blanco Tequila, which is then infused with natural, ripe cucumber and jalapeño flavors for a cool-meets-heat balance. Like all 1800 tequilas, it starts with matured agave, eight to twelve years old, grown in volcanic soil and handpicked at peak maturity, so the spicy, vegetal flavors sit on a genuine agave backbone.
Crystal clear in the glass, it is herbal and fruity on the nose, with sweet agave and spicy notes. The palate is full-bodied with cucumber and jalapeño, and the finish is fresh and spicy.
It is best enjoyed in a spicy Margarita, or in a light, refreshing highball with soda water, lime and a cucumber ribbon. It also brings a gentle kick to a Paloma or a Bloody Maria. Keep it chilled and serve it over ice with a squeeze of lime for an easy, refreshing pour on a hot day.
