4 Copas is celebrated as the world's first USDA- and EU-certified organic tequila. It is produced by generational growers who control every stage, from organic farming to distillation, in Amatitán, a terroir famed for blue Weber agave and rich volcanic soils. The spirit is distilled in the lowlands near the Tequila Volcano with water and organic yeast, under the supervision of the master distillers at Hacienda de Oro.
Bottled unaged, it presents a pure, fresh cooked-agave flavor. The nose shows fresh cooked agave with light citrus, the palate is clean and smooth with a fresh, natural character, and the finish is crisp and clean.
