Amatiteña Blanco Origen is a high-proof, estate-grown blanco tequila from NOM 1477 in Amatitán, Jalisco, bottled at 49% ABV (98 proof).
Maestro tequilero Alberto Partida makes it from estate-grown Blue Weber agave, without additives and without chill filtration.
The agave is pressed on a tahona, fermented with wild yeast and double distilled in a copper pot still.
It shows the historical, more traditional strength of Amatitán tequila, higher than the core Amatiteña blanco.
Its tall bottle with a grey label lists the NOM, maestro and production details. We also carry Amatiteña Añejo.
