Amatiteña Reposado is an additive-free tequila from NOM 1477 in Amatitán, Jalisco, made by maestro tequilero Alberto Partida and bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof).
The agave is crushed by tahona, fermented in open-air wooden tanks and double distilled in a copper pot still.
It rests only about two months in oak, keeping the agave front and centre.
The higher proof gives it a thick, full body.
It is a traditional, agave-forward reposado from the heart of the Tequila valley. We also carry Amatiteña Añejo.
