American Born Moonshine was founded in Nashville by Patrick Dillingham and Sean Koffel, who set out to celebrate the American pioneer spirit with a true, high-proof moonshine. The brand launched in Middle Tennessee in October 2013, and it is produced and bottled in Nashville.
Original White Lightning follows a traditional mountain recipe of corn, sugar and water, distilled and bottled unaged, straight from the still. The label calls it the original white lightning, and the old-fashioned mason jar with its paper label and tag is a nod to moonshine's backwoods roots.
