Amor Mío Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila from Mexico, aged 24 months in American oak and French oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
Two years in two kinds of oak give it a rich amber colour and layered sweetness: the American oak adds vanilla and caramel, while the French oak brings finer spice and structure.
The nose offers vanilla, cinnamon, prune and hazelnut wood, and the finish is sweet and long.
The bottle is a work of art in its own right: a curved glass decanter with a red and gold sunburst emblem, resting on a hand-painted talavera-style ceramic stand and crowned with a matching stopper. It makes a spectacular gift and a centrepiece on any shelf.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
