Ardbeg An Oa is a peated Islay single malt vatted from ex-bourbon, virgin oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, non chill-filtered and bottled at 46.6% ABV (93.2 proof).

It was Ardbeg's first new permanent expression in almost a decade.

The vatting gives it a rounded, smoky character.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Smoky but rounded, with toffee and aniseed and a suggestion of peach and banana.
• Palate: Milk chocolate, treacle toffee and smoky tea leaves.
• Finish: Aniseed, hickory and light smoke.
