Arette Artesanal Blanco is a small-batch 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from Tequilera El Llano in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, made by the Orendain family and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 700ml bottle.
El Llano is a family distillery with roots going back to 1900 and a deep commitment to traditional production. The Artesanal line, distinguished from the brand's standard square-bottle range, uses slower, traditional processing with tahona stone crushing and open-air fermentation, and a careful focus on cutting out harsh distillates for an exceptionally clean, smooth finish.
It is transparent and beautiful in the glass, with an intense agave aroma and the smoothness that has made Arette one of the most respected names in traditional tequila.
Its tall bottle with the horse's head label makes it a classic gift.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
