Augusto Tequila Reposado is a 100% agave reposado rested in sherry casks, created to bridge the traditions of Mexico and Spain. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
Augusto was founded by Christopher Poon and Eddie Li with partner Damith Weerakoon, who chose sherry casks for their tequila to bring the depth of Spanish wine to Mexican agave. The result is a reposado with an unusually earthy, wood-toned character.
The nose brings green herbs and chewy oak, leading to an earthy, slightly dry palate and a bold finish with herbal notes and a rustic, wood-toned texture. It won a special award at the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards.
The tall, slim bottle, shading from black to amber beneath a crowned stopper, makes it a striking gift.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
