Azul Imperial Blanco is an ultra-premium, single-estate 100% blue agave tequila crafted by one family on one estate in southern Jalisco, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Tequila Azul Imperial is made by a single family from agave grown on its own estate in southern Jalisco, so every bottle comes from a place you can point to. The blanco is the unaged expression of the range, which also includes reposado, añejo and extra añejo, and it is presented in a tall decanter with a crowned crest and a single-estate neck band.
Fresh and green, it shows clean cooked agave with light spice.
The royal-blue decanter makes it an elegant gift.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
Single-estate tequilas show the character of one place.
Serve it slightly chilled in a copita.
A squeeze of lime and pinch of salt make a classic serve.
It makes a crisp Margarita with fresh lime.
Try it in a Paloma with grapefruit soda.
Pair it with fish tacos.
Its decanter makes a beautiful display piece.
