Bandero Premium Blanco is a small-batch, 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco's Los Altos Highlands, twice distilled and chill filtered, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in its signature leather-clad canteen bottle.
Bandero is made by hand in small batches from the finest 100% Blue Weber agave, matured for seven years in the red clay soil of the Los Altos Highlands, on the foothills of the Guachimontones in Jalisco. It is made to be sipped and savored so the sweet, natural flavors of agave can shine through, and it has claimed more than a dozen awards.
The agave piñas are steamed in a traditional brick oven for 30 hours to caramelize and release their flavors and sugars, then rested for 24 hours and cooled for 4 hours before crushing and fermenting with purified water from the distillery's own well. The tequila is distilled twice and then chill filtered to purify and perfect the flavor. It is gluten-free, with no additives, colorings or sweeteners. The canteen-style bottle is made from 100% recycled glass and wrapped in a leather pouch, a presentation that earned the Design Distinction Century Award.
The mouth-watering agave leads to a floral, sweet flavor and a creamy texture, smooth from first sip to finish.
